Lil Reese was shot Saturday morning in a northside parking garage. The shooting was reported around 9.50 am according to Chicago police and the Chicago Fire Department.
Well, it was not just one party shooting the other but everybody shooting at everybody. The shooting resulted in 3 victims aged 20,27 and 28.
The shooting took place due to a dispute in the parking garage regarding a stolen car.
Among the victims, the 20-year-old male was shot twice in the knee and taken to Stroger Hospital. Even though the 20-year-old male was shot twice he is in a good condition and out of harm.
The 27-year-old man was shot multiple times in the body and is in critical condition. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
The Chicago rapper Tavares Taylor who goes by the name Lil Reese was only grazed in the eye by the bullet and was also taken to the Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
Lil Reese was in a fair condition while being taken to the hospital and was not in a critical state.
In a media notification, police said no one was in custody in the shooting.
How did the shooting happen?
Before the incident, a report was made to the police about a vehicle being stolen. The vehicle owner had a GPS tracking device on his Dodge Durango and was able to track his vehicle in the Grand Plaza Parking garage on the third floor. Two people- father and son went in search of the vehicle and when they found the vehicle in the parking, the father tried to detain the people inside the stolen vehicle.
While the father tried to detain the people, someone came out and opened fire in the vehicle which resulted in the vehicle hitting a pillar. After the vehicle crashed, the 3 people inside got out and exchanged shots with the people firing the shots.
The scene was filled with shell casings and police recovered two handguns from the site.
The three who were shot including Lil Reese did not provide the police with any information so it is not currently known who did the shooting.
A post was then made to Lil Reese’s Instagram story which said:
“Everyone Keep praying for reese & his family.”
However, no news has surfaced since then leaving everyone asking the question of whether Lil Reese is still alive?

We can confirm at this moment that Lil Reese is still alive and in a stable condition. The 20-year-old who was shot with him is also out of harm’s way. The condition of the 27-year-old male is not known at the moment. But we will update you as soon as we find out more.
