Two years later, I can’t get Mat Edgar (someone I’ve spent literally 5 minutes with) out of my head. I even asked Sara Weinshenk to find out from Tony Hinchcliffe; if he was single 🤣 but my mission failed.
It wasn’t until Father’s Day when I spent it with my comedy dad and mentor Jeff Garlin that I ask him about his opener Mat. Jeff and I pulled up to the Grove to have lunch and as he was getting something out of his car I blurt out “You know your opener Mat? Well I have a crush on him”
Jeff’s eyes got so big as if a light bulb went off and all he said was “It’s perfect!”After Jeff dropped me off, he called Mat to say he just had lunch with his future wife 😩
