Bill Macy, best known as Walter Findlay on the classic Norman Lear sitcom Maude, has died at the age of 97. People close to Bill’s family has confirmed the news of the actor’s death.

Bill’s Wife Samantha Harper shared that the actor passed away at 7:13pm Thursday on October 17, 2019.
The Holiday actor, Bill, was born Wolf Martin Garber on May 18, 1922 and had turned 97 this year. He was married to his wife Samantha for over four decades; since 4th May 1975.
Prior to Samantha, Bill was married to Judith Janus.
