Rick Kaiser Navy SEAL Wiki
Rick Kaiser was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He joined the U.S. Navy at age 17 and attended boot camp in Orlando, Florida. Upon graduation from boot camp, Rick attended Basic Underwater Demolition SEAL (BUD/S) training Class 109 in Coronado, California. From California, he was assigned to East Coast SEAL Teams in 1980.
Rick was deployed three times with SEAL TEAM Two 2nd Platoon,
specializing in winter warfare, sniping, and combat swimming. Rick served from 1985-1993, acting as a lead diver, breacher, and sniper.
In 1993, Rick received the Silver Star for Valor during the Battle of Mogadishu (Black Hawk Down). He served as the training chief and lead sniper from 1993-2000. Rick made numerous deployments to
Bosnia hunting war criminals until retirement from active duty in August 2000 after 22 years of service. Rick was rehired after 9/11 to act as Deputy Operations Officer.
He served in this position from 2001-2012, overseeing and managing numerous combat deployments post 9-11 of SEALs to Afghanistan, Iraq, Africa, and many other locations around the world. Rick was deployed to Bagram, Afghanistan as the Current Operations Officer for a Joint Service Combat Unit.
