Savita Subramanian is the head of the U.S. Equity Strategy & U.S. Quantitative Strategy within the Global Macro Research group. She is responsible for recommending U.S. sector allocations for equities and for determining forecasts for the S&P 500 and other major U.S. indices as well as developing and marketing the firm’s quantitative equity strategy to institutional and individual clients.
Savita has been with the Quantitative team since 2001, and her team is ranked in the Institutional Investor & Greenwich surveys. Prior to Merrill Lynch, Savita was an analyst at Scudder Kemper Investments in New York and San Francisco.

Savita Subramanian Career
Subramanian was hired and trained by Richard Bernstein and she has also worked under long-time top-ranked chief global quantitative strategist Nigel Tupper. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch in 2001, Savita was an analyst at Scudder Kemper Investments in New York and San Francisco for four years.
Savita is on the membership committee of Q Group and is a member of the Chicago Quantitative Alliance, the Society of Quantitative Analysts and Women on Wall Street.
