Jeremy Clarkson Biography
Jeremy Charles Robert Clarkson (59) is an English-language presenter, journalist and writer specializing in automotive. He was born on April 11 1960. He was born and raised in the city of Doncaster, United Kingdom. His parents were Shirley Gabrielle Clarkson and Edward Grenville Clarkson. His mother Shirley was a teacher and his father a salesman by profession.
It was hard for his parents to make good income from their profession which kept them worried about his expenses for education. But eventually his father, Edward happened to meet Michael Bond in London and was awarded the licensing of the bear rights. Through this, his family could make a decent earning and Jeremy got admitted to Hill house School on Doncaster and then joined Repton School.
His childhood was full of ups and downs. Unhappy with his schooling in Repton School, he went through the suicidal wreck due to extreme bullying and developed bad behavior which led him to the expulsion from the school.
Clarkson’s first job was to sell bear toys as a travelling salesman for his parents’ business. He then began to work as a journalist with the Rotherham Advertiser before writing to Rochdale courier, Lincolnshire life Shropshire Star and the associated newspapers. He also acknowledges when he wrote his last column for Top Gears (27 October 1988- 3rd February 2000) magazine in 2015.
He has hosted the TV shows like “Who wants to be a millionaire?”(1998), Top Gear (2002) and The Grand Tour (2006).
