Wade had a rough childhood. He compares his father to the devil and tells that his father used to beat him and his mother.
My biological father; he, he was the devil! He’d beat us, he’d beat my mom. There is scar in my face that came from him and i have a crack in my skull from my eyes socket over here. He wouldn’t even let my mom out of the house with all three of the kids because he thought, she’s gonna take off, she is gonna leave with the kids.
The final stroll was, she came home from work early and he was kicking me in the ribs across the floor. It took her two years to be able to get out of the house without him. She had to wait for the perfect moment to say they gotta get all their shots, it’s better to get them all in one time and she said- do you want to go with me? And he said, no, no, no, just go without me.
He has not seen his father since that day and he is now happy that he along with his other family members could get away from the devil dad of his.
Since that day I haven’t seen him. I am so happy I have everybody and that we got away from him.
And I am happy that i was the youngest because I am sure they remember a whole lot more.
His mom still works full time, I wanna be remembered for something and it might as well be making my mom proud.
