Gretchen Whitmer is the 49th Governor of Michigan state, who served in the Michigan House of Representatives. Recently, six men from Michigan were accused of plotting kidnap against Whitmer.
Gretchen Whitmer Bio
Gretchen was born on August 23, 1971, in Lansing, Michigan. Her birth sign is Virgo and Whitmer is 51 years old (2022).
She is the blessed eldest daughter of Sharon H. Sherry Reisig and Richard Whitmer. Her parents were both attorneys, the father being the head of the state department of commerce, and her mother worked as assistant attorney general under Michigan Attorney General Frank Kelley. However, unfortunately, at the age of 10, Gretchen’s parents got divorced, making them move out with her mother to Grand Rapids.

Before getting elected as the Governor of Michigan, Gretchen was elected to the House of Representatives in 2002 and 2004. Later, In 2011, her Democratic colleagues chose her to be the Senate Democratic Leader, making her the first woman to lead a party caucus in the Senate.
Afterward, in 2017, she declared to run for the 2018 Michigan governor. Luckily, she won in all 83 counties in the state and became the Democratic Governor of Michigan on August 7, 2018.

The Governor of Michigan and President Donald Trump’s relationship has been tensed up since the outbreak of the virus Covid-19 in March.
In March 2020, she sent a strict, stay-at-home order, and also wrote a letter to Donald Trump, for medication help for Michigan. In response, he tweeted,
“Failing Michigan Governor must work harder and be much more proactive. We are pushing her to get the job done. I stand with Michigan!
In her response, she tweeted, “I’ve asked repeatedly and respectfully for help. We need it. No more political attacks, just PPEs, ventilators, N95 masks, and test kits. You said you stand with Michigan — prove it.”
Afterward, when the situation worsened, Trump again tweeted,
“I love Michigan, one of the reasons we are doing such a GREAT job for them during this horrible Pandemic. Yet your Governor, Gretchen “Half” Whitmer is way in over her head, she doesn’t have a clue. Likes blaming everyone for her own ineptitude!

Gretchen is a married woman. Her first marriage was with Gary Shrewsbury, whose profession is yet unknown. Their marriage was a rough one, resulting in separation. Although they divorce, they share two beautiful children, named Sherry and Sydney Shrewsbury. At the court, after the trial, the decision was passed that Gretchen had full custody of her daughters.
Later, Whitmer found love again. Yes, after her divorce, she met a dentist, named Marc P Mallory, and it was love at first sight for the couple. The lovely couple wasted no time and got married in 2011. Together, they are blessed with three sons, Alex Mason and Winston.
