Jasmine Davis graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2015 with her B.A. major in Sociology and a minor in Gender Studies.
Before that, she went to cosmetology school where she learned beauty techniques and worked as a hairdresser before starting an acting career.
Currently, Jasmine is being funded by the National Science Foundation through the Graduate Research Fellowship Program to do her work on native-born Blacks, Whites, and Black Immigrants and their Self Esteem trajectory across age.
She trained at Second City in Chicago which is known for offering a wide variety of acting and writing classes for kids and adults.
