His parents are Debi and Adrian Pritchard and he grew up with a brother, a brother named Curtis. Adrian is also a dancer and is an international Latin American dance hall and choreographer. He is also a dance teacher and competitive training judge for youth, amateurs, and professionals.
He runs the Pritchards Dance and Fitness Academy with the help of his wife, who is a Pilates instructor. From a very young age, AJ started honing his dance skills at the Pritchard Dance and Fitness Academy, a dance school run by his parents.
