It’s extremely fair to suggest that Niantic, as a company, has played an integral role in the recent growth of mobile gaming, with mobile users being captivated by Pokemon Go’s aforementioned augmented reality feature in particular. With clever technology opening up endless gaming possibilities, Niantic is clearly aiming to capitalize on the augmented reality buzz and nail another AR-based product.
