According to a Facebook post made by the Bogalusa Police Department on July 27, 2022, rapper JayDaYoungan passed away after sustaining gunshot wounds in Louisiana.
Another person, Kenyatta Scott Sr. who is described by the police to be a close family member was also injured in the shooting and was transported to another facility. He is now in stable condition. Kenyatta Scott is potentially JayDaYoungan’s father.
