At the age of 13, Leticia had no idea what she was doing. She was told she should be a model but didn’t know where to even start. Then, a girl, who was a model, got transferred to Leticia’s school. She gave Cline a number to her agent in Nashville and Cline remembers sitting in the floor practicing; what she was going to say 10000 times before she actually called them.
The next thing Cline remembers was that she was in their office, then on a shoot, then standing in front of 25 of the top agencies around the world. Then on a plane to Tokyo. From a town of 2200 people to the most populated city in the world. She would go to castings as many hours as there were in the day.
But, Cline’s journey wasn’t as easy! She was told she was too skinny, too fat, too pretty, not weird enough, too blonde, not the right ethnicity, too edgy, not edgy enough, too old, too young, too short, my eyes were the wrong color and my teeth were to straight.
