Where is Gabe Watson Now in 2021?
Gabe Watson infamously known as the honeymoon killer is now living life as a free man!
He was initially was charged with murder in Australia, after Tina’s body was found near Townsville, Queensland. But, Gabe pleaded guilty to a lesser manslaughter charge.
He was sentenced to four years in prison with three years suspended. The Queensland attorney general later appealed the sentence and the court agreed to add six months to Watson’s minimum sentence for a total of 18 months.
A grand jury in Alabama also indicted him for capital murder as he allegedly planned his new bride’s death while still in the state. A judge granted a defense motion to have one murder count dropped.
The trial officially went to court on February 13, 2012, which was Tina’s 35th birthday. For some reason, in Alamba they weren’t allowed to mention the evidence of Gabe’s weird behavior and weren’t allowed to raise the life insurance claim.
Without all this evidence the Judge decided there wasn’t much evidence to convict Gabe of murder and he was acquitted of all charges. Gabe said he’s at peace with it now and wants to rebuild his life.

October 22, 2003, was the day when Gabe’s first wife, Tina, died, just after 11 days of their marriage.
In 2006, Gabe Watson had already begun dating. He dated Kim Lewis, an Alabama school teacher at the time, and got married later in 2008.
Due to the similarity in looks between Tina and Gabe’s new wife, some media reports described Kim as a “lookalike” to Ms. Thomas.
However, Gabe refused to agree. He rather stated that,
“Kim’s been very accepting of my past, She knows that Tina and I were crazy in love and she doesn’t make me have to forget that”
