Dr. Fauci has been making headlines since the Covid Outbreak. He became the hope of people in the fight against this terror of Covid-19.
However, currently, Dr. Fauci is making the headlines for all the wrong reasons. His emails have been published. BuzzFeed News published more than 3,200 pages of emails from Fauci’s inbox after obtaining correspondence spanning from January to June 2020, and The Washington Post published excerpts from more than 860 pages of emails during March and April 2020. CNN also obtained a number of emails from February, but many were heavily redacted.
It all started at 6.45 pm on Saturday, February 1, 2020, when Dr. Anthony Fauci fired off the email which would pitch him into possibly the biggest controversy of his time.
“Thanks Kristian. Talk soon on the call,” he wrote.
Well, it is not what he wrote but what was in the other mail that is causing concerns for Dr. Fauci. Kristian Andersen, a professor of immunology at Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, California, had emailed Fauci showing his concerns about the virus causing the Covid-19 pandemic showing signs of having been manipulated in a lab.
While this might not seem much but it is being interpreted now that Fauci downplayed the possibility of Covid being leaked from a lab in Wuhan.
But things don’t end there. Fauci has been accused of helping to fund risky research at the Wuhan lab through a $600,000 grant given by the US National Institutes of Health for work on bat coronaviruses.
His critics are asking him to be fired and are saying that his insistence that the origins of the disease probably lie in wild animals is less of a reflection of the evidence than it is of his desire to protect his institution.
His friends and family are now worried that he will soon step down from public life. But Fauci has insisted that he is not going to quit.
“I have never thought of quitting,” he said. “I will have had enough when we nail down this outbreak and we crush it.”
So the only way he steps down is if he gets fired. There has been a lot of rumors going around on social media that Fauci is fired.
However, we can confirm that Fauci hasn’t been fired and all the talks about him being fired are false.
Will Fauci get fired?
It is highly unlikely that Dr. Fauci will be fired from his job for the above-mentioned reasons. He has worked tirelessly since the Pandemic and long before that.
