Mr. ChanChan a popular Twitch Streamer who also has a huge YouTube subscriber of more than 64,000 was banned from popular streaming platform Twitch.
He has released a YouTube video as an apology, apologizing to the fish and its family. He says,
I got banned from Twitch a couple of days ago. What happened was I went for finishing the other day and I did a fishing stream. And on that live streaming, I caught a fish. The fish was so strong and I am not professional so I didn’t know how to handle it. So, what I did was I tried to smash the fish on the ground while it was hanging on the fishing rod and that moment caused the problem. So, I Got banned from Twitch and after I realized that I was banned I was in a panic because Twitch is the main source of income for my family. After I ate the fish, I have been thinking about it and I have realized that I am selfish, because, I care about my family but not the family of the fish that I killed and ate. I mean probably they want to kill me right so I really want to say that I am so sorry to the fish that I killed and it’s family. I am so sorry.
Now what’s left to see is if Twitch is going to release the ban or not. He looked sincerely apologetic in the video so let’s hope that he is back to his streaming.
The comments on his video also showed that most of his subscribers are against his ban.
Meanwhile, people abuse their animals on stream and it’s nothing but silence Twitch mods. They have lost their damn minds. Said, one user.
Another user said that he didn’t deserve to be banned:
It’s okay ChanChan, we make mistakes, we will wait for u to come back. In my opinion, u did not cause a major problem and you don’t deserve to be banned on twitch. Don’t feel sad about this, we will always be by your side. Said another user.
Another user tried to console him with a long and sensitive message:
It’s fine ChanChan, I do agree that the way you handle the fish is too brutal for people to see, but I completely understand your reaction because you don’t know how to handle the fish. If I was there I will most likely just let the fish die slowly on the ground because I don’t know how to handle it. The way I will handle it will be way more brutal than yours, hopefully, this makes you feel better.
Also, don’t be guilty about killing the fish, people hunt for food, that is how it works on this planet, the strong hunt the weak to survive. You did absolutely nothing wrong with getting the fish and cook it for yourselves.
So yeah, don’t feel bad about it, the way you handle the fish does break The terms of Service of Twitch, that’s for sure, but it’s nowhere as bad as pure animal abuse (for example: hurting pets for no reason).
You will be fine, people will understand you, at least the good people will, as of those who are not happy with you, and try to make you look bad, just remember that they are overreacting and they are doing it for attention on the internet.
That’s all from me, cheers, keep doing what you love.
