Heather Paterno is a family law practitioner, advocate for children, a professor, and an author. She is an attorney who focuses on families and children’s issues and a court-appointed guardian ad litem. This means she is allowed to advocate for children’s best interests in various legal proceedings.
For 17 years, Heather served as a member of the Harrisburg-based law practice of Goldberg Katzman, P.C. Since 2011, Heather worked as an Adjunct Professor of Paralegal Studies at Harrisburg Area Community College.
Not only that, but Heather has also authored two children’s books: H is for Hershey, an A-Z journey through Hershey, its history and attractions, and Mr. Hershey’s legacy; and PJ Bird, the story of a little Eastern Bluebird’s coming of age.

Further, In 2005, Heather earned admission to the Daughters of the American Revolution; an organization committed to public service and historic preservation. Later in 2015, she got appointed a guardian ad litem for Dauphin County’s Dependency Court.
