Charles Wade is an infamous Ferguson activist; who was charged with prostitution and human trafficking of a minor after he got allegedly caught in a sex sting in 2016.
Charles Wade, 37, was arrested after an undercover detective responded to an ad he allegedly set up to organize meetings with a 17-year-old girl, who later identified him to police as her ‘manager’.
Wade was arrested at a Howard Johnson Inn in College Park, Maryland, on April 25, 2016.

Charles Wade BLM Arrest
Charles Wade, before his arrest, was known as the co-founder of Operation Help or Hush, an operation he started to assist the BLM movement. He was also recognized as a celebrity stylist; and Solange Knowles was reportedly his most famous client.
As stated earlier, Charles Wade was arrested in April of 2016. He was held on seven counts relating to felony human trafficking and prostitution. However, Wade was bailed out two days after his arrest on a $25,000 bond.

Online records showed that Wade, a resident of Bowie, Maryland, was due back in court in relation to the charges on June 3, 2016. He was being charged in Prince George’s County. Wade also released a statement on his arrest on May 18, nearly 3 weeks after the incident occurred; explaining that he had been contacted by the girl in question with her saying she needed shelter.
However, it is unclear as to whether or not Charles Wade was convicted or sentenced. Maryland court records reveal that the case was closed in 2016. The exact details, however, did not surface the media.
