Gigi in her defense stated that the killing was an act of mercy toward her son, who was autistic and did not speak.
Jordan testified that one of her ex-husbands had threatened to kill her, and eventually the other ex-husband — whom she suspected of sadistically abusing the boy — would have gained custody of her son.
