He is an English fashion designer, television personality and author. He is best known for establishing the fashion line for women, Kingdom and State, and his roles for the fashion expert in Queer Eye’s Netflix revival.

His parents came to England and France grew up with two older brothers and a sister. He was born in the United Kingdom but his parents were born in Pakistan. He lost his father when he was thirteen years of age. The mix of the culture in his family between him and his parents led to a compromise to accept his sexuality.
