Bob Saget Family
He was born to his father Benjamin Saget who was a supermarket executive and mother Rosalyn Saget who was a hospital administrator and belonged to a Jewish family. He is not the single child in his family and grew up along with his siblings who are his sisters and named Gay Saget and Andrea Saget. Previously the Saget family lived in California before they moved back to Philadelphia.
His father and mother are no more with him and left the world in 2007 and 2014 respectively. Before his parents’ death, he also had to face the tragic death of his sister Gay, who lost her life battling with the disease Scleroderma in 1994 when she was 47 years old.

Not just that, Bob also lost his sister Andrea when she was 34. She was suffering from an illness aneurysm. It is also revealed that his parents lost two children before he was born.
Having lost his sisters, Bob became more active than he previously was; to raise awareness about the disease and helping the ones suffering from the disease.
He takes help from his friend Sharon Monsky regarding the matter with whom he founded a foundation named Scleroderma Research Foundation and is appointed in the board of directors.

He rose to fame when he was offered a role in CBS’s The Morning Program in 1987. The show was not as popular as expected. Later he acted in the show Full House which was popular at the time.
