A lawyer, media personality, and political commentator by profession, James Carville was named Chester James Carville Jr. on his birth. He was born on October 25 in the year 1944 turning 75 years of age by now. He was born as the oldest child among the eight children to his parents Lucille (mother) and Chester James Carville (father). His mother was a former school teacher and also a saleswoman while his father was a postmaster and also had a general store.
The Co-host of the CNN crossfire completed his under graduation and acquired Juris Doctor Degree from Louisiana State University and is present as the member of Sigma Nu fraternity and was the political consultant to Bill Clinton in the 1992 election.
He has also shown up his face in various films and television programs.

James Carville is currently married to Mary Matalin who is a Republican political consultant. He got married in the year 1993 in New Orleans. Two of them met each other while they worked for George W. Bush Presidential reelection campaign in 1992.
