Born on February 13 1933, the retired actress now, Kim Novak was named Marylin Pauline Novak on her birth. She was born in Chicago to Joseph Novak (father) who was a history teacher and Blanche Novak (Mother), who worked in factory. Her parents are an U.S immigrants and were originally from Czech Republic.
Growing up, Kim did not cope well with her teachers in her elementary school and the high school. However, she was very good in her studies and even won the scholarships at the School Of Art Institute of Chicago. But for some reason, she instead joined the Wright Junior College.
She had started her career earlier in her high school days, her first job being the model for the local departmental store. Then in the summer break of her junior college, she along with her friends went on a country tour in search of the modeling jobs from where she began her work life.
