His Passion for cooking developed from the early age as he was born in the family of foodies. This led him to work in the restaurant at a very early age. Currently living in Scottsdale, he had left his University studies to get enrolled in the culinary school in Paris, to carry out the work in which he was interested. He owns restaurants in many places with some of his partners. He with Quinn Goldsberry ( his business partner) together own seven restaurants in Phoenix and Tucson.
He is the executive chef in his own restaurant Lettuce Turnip Beets. Also he owns the restaurants like The lodge Sasquatch kitchen, The Yatch Club and Goodwood Tavern.
It was not easy for May to start up his ventures. He had to struggle to withstand it. Even in his career he had to shut down a Yatch Club restaurant in less than four months of the opening. He and his restaurants have shown up national television performance on multiple food networks like “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives”, “Best thing I ever Ate”.
Having no idea that he would own so many restaurants in future, he got the title of Arizona Culinary Hall of Fame in the year 2010 and also got featured in Guy Feirie’s show “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives”.
He is also found preparing food not only for the earning purpose, but also for the charity purpose.
He is also nominated as “Chef Extraordinaire” by Arizona Culinary Hall of fame which is one of the prestigious titled in the culinary world.
