Erika Nardini College / Career
Nardini the CEO of Barstool Sports, a satirical sports and lifestyle/pop culture brand earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the school. Later she graduated from Colby college where she studied sociology and philosophy.
After graduating college, Erika worked at Fidelity’s legal department, as her goal, at that time, was to become a lawyer. Nardini’s salary there used to be $50,000. But after working there for a while, Erika hated her job as she “couldn’t find her soul in what she was doing.”
With time, Erika realized that advertising field was where her interest lied and that she really wanted to work. Upon realizing that, Erika officially made the decision and switched to advertising.
However, she still wasn’t completely satisfied working in an ad agency; since, she wanted to work at a publisher, where she could actually build an advertisement herself.
That desire of her led Nardini to work at companies including Microsoft, Yahoo and AOL. After working for those companies for a substantial period of time; in 2013 she met Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy for coffee. In 2016, Erika joined Barstool Sports as CEO, and rest from there is history in the making.
