Matte’s first break in his professional career was after her came out of university. The first job he took was of a Host for a show MOD (Much On Demand) on MuchMusic, a Canadian cable specialty channel.
Babel managed to work for four long years at MOD where he got the opportunity of hosting hour long special with the likes of Gerrad Bulter,Tom Cruise, Mark Wahlberg, Matthew McConaughey, and J.J Abrams to name a few.
His other musical guest included stars like Justin Timberlake, Mariah Carey, Jay z, Usher, 50 cent, Pink, and plenty of others.
Eventually people started recognizing his talent which helped him get established as a Canadian pop-culture icon. Moreover, by 2009, Matte was presented with an opportunity to work at a Canadian 24 hour News Channel CP24.

Earlier this year in January, the Pretty Little Liar alum, Shay shared with us the devastating news of her miscarriage via her Instagram story.
