Francis Ellis is a comedian, podcast host and a blogger who got fired from Barstool Sports, a sports and pop culture website, on 28th June 2019.
The decision of firing him was instigated after Francis wrote an inconsiderate post about the University of Utah college student, named Mackenzie Lueck, who went missing on June 17.
Ellis, however, says he wrote the post not knowing the severity of the case and later removed the post upon finding out that Lueck was brutally murdered.
