Asante Blackk’s Family: Parents & Siblings
Asante, 17, was born to his couple therapist parents, Ayize and Aiyana in the year 2001. He was born and raise in Maryland alongside his 4 younger siblings; two sisters and two brothers.
His parents’ marriage is also as old as him since they have been married for 17 and together for 24 years. Asante is the first born child of his high school sweetheart parents; who also are clinical social workers.
Furthermore, Asante belongs to a very artistic family as well. His father is very good at poetry and is a master of words, whereas, his mother has a love for singing. Asante plays the character of Malik Hodges on This is Us. Malik is a teen father to his toddler daughter, who he loves and cares for a lot. He is a father with a dream and determination to provide his daughter a right life in the city, a proper education and a good future.
Well, the future if Malik’s daughter is yet to get determined, but Malik himself is a lucky kid. He has a supportive family and his parents are together. Malik’s father, Darnell, owns a car repair business, where Malik is employed and his mother, Kelly, is a manager at a hotel.
Although every thing seems well settled in Malik’s family now, his father did run drugs when he was younger. However, Darnell had to do that because he had a son to take care of.
