Oscar nominated director John Singleton has suffered a stroke and and is currently hospitalized.
Columnist B. Scott broke the news on her blog on Saturday, writing:
‘According to our sources, the legendary John Singleton is in the hospital after suffering a stroke,’
The 51-year-old, best known for helming 1991 film Boyz n the Hood, was hospitalized on Friday night. His celebrity pals confirmed the news on social media.
‘His condition is unknown at this time, but we’re sending prayers his way. We’ll keep you updated with any significant developments.’ Scott wrote.
