Battle rap has lost a prominent figure today as Philly and battle rap legend Tech 9 has allegedly passed away. People have been confusing him with another rapper Tech N9ne however they are not the same person.

People have been mourning his departure and are not able to process the whole situation. Tech 9 is also a father of two lovely daughters whom he considered his world.
The news circulated after Buttah Madison posted about it in his facebook account but it has not been confirmed by Tech 9’s family or his representatives.
