The amount of attention that Tanacon garnered last year was straight up baffling. Starting from just the idea of doing something like Vidcon, but in a better way, had acquired many people’s interest.
Also, many influencers supported Tana for her project and even agreed to show up to the event. But despite the idea being a massive hit in itself; Tanacon turned out to be a disaster
The mismanagement of the event started to unfold from the very get-go. All the people were kept waiting outside the venue clueless for hours, and the seating capacity fell short disappointingly. Thus, Tanacon didn’t take time turning into a disgraceful event!
Tana’s social media accounts were all flooded with hate comments thereafter, and she was named a fraud.
So, after having gone through a major failure in the past; is Tana Mongeau ready for Tanacon part two?
Is Tanacon 2.0 Happening Anytime Soon?
Appearing on Logan Paul’s podcast Impaulsive on February 22nd, 2019, Tana admitted that the failure of Tanacon put her right back to the rock bottom of her career.
But despite all the bad stuff that went down, Tana told; it wasn’t as bad as she thought it would be. She expressed,
I have had a lot of offers and stuffs like that. You would think that throwing something so bad like that (Tanacon) would make people steer away, but if anything; it made all the right companies kinda come forward and wanna do it.
However, Tana then said that she wasn’t sure if she was the right person to do Tanacon again. Tana further added that she was just a YouTuber for now and convention planning was something she didn’t know about.
Well, that was what she said two weeks ago but now Tana seemingly has something else in her mind. On March 7, Tana Mongeau twitted that she is working on something unbelievable,

Ever since the tweet came out, all her fans are speculating that Tana could be hinting about Tanacon 2.0.
It sure is possible, however, there are no other clues that could help us come to a conclusion.
Maybe, Logan, who said on the podcast that he was ready to manage Tanacon 2.0, could have convinced Tana behind cameras? Or maybe, Tana is just working on something else that could be even more interesting than Tanacon 2.0?
