Alfonso Cuarón, a Mexican National is an Academy Award-winning film director, screenwriter, and producer who has made films like Y Tu Mamá También, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Children of Men, Gravity. His latest directorial venture Roma won the best picture at the 91st Academy Awards and also earned him Best Director for the same at this years Oscars. This is the second time he has won an Academy Award for Best Director previously having won for Gravity.
