Elija Godwin Impaled By Javelin
On Tuesday afternoon, Elija was running his practice drills while the fatal incident occurred. The javelin, sticking out at an angle, was left on the practice field which went through Elija’s body as he sprinted backwards. The javelin pierced Elija’s lungs living him unconscious in the scene.
Godwin’s team members immediately called an ambulance and rushed him to the hospital where the doctors performed a successful surgery. Meanwhile, Godwin is able to breathe normally without the help of oxygen and as per the doctors; he is expected to make a full recovery.
