According to an article on Kyung Hyang Newspaper on June 2, another well-known entertainer Kimo, who was in the KakaoTalk chat room where the singer Jung Joon-young uploaded the illegally filmed images, receives a police investigation as a reference.

Roy Kim was participating in ‘Jung Joon Yung’ chatroom with the name ‘Mr Kim’, and it was confirmed that there were seven members including Jung Joon Yung, Jyun-hoon and Roy Kim.

According to the Kyunghyang newspaper, there are 23 chat rooms where illegal footage was distributed by Jung Joon Yung and 16 participants. A police official said,

“Thirteen out of 16 people are subject to investigation.” (Based on the morning of the second day), there are seven people who are likely to be arrested, depending on the results of the survey. “We will review whether Kim will go through the investigation.”

Roy Kim’s agency has responded saying

“I have not heard the story yet. I will check with the person who goes to school in the United States, “he said.

His followers have been left in despair and are not being able to process all this.

However, we should not forget that he is still only a suspect and his crimes have not yet been confirmed. So we should give him the benefit of the doubt until then.
